Today I offer the final episode of three installments where have taken a quick look at Perfect Portrait 2. If you have not seen the previous two posts are interested in learning the basic functions of this program, I suggest you spend a few minutes now. Here is the link to the first episode as well as the second. In this final post I will show you a few tips on making the final adjustments. Perfect portrait 2 makes dealing with shine on a face is super easy.

Perfect portrait 2 is a really fast and easy program to learn, however there are some advance features available if you really want to get serious with your final result. However, I think the strength in this program is how quickly it will automatically retouch an image for you. The ability to retouch a portrait in its entirety without ever having to open Photoshop says volumes to the hard work that onOne did to create this great application. Don’t get me wrong, if I am working on a high paying Fashion job, I will retouch each image manually in Photoshop. However if I am shooting a wedding where I have groups of family members or sports teams, maybe senior pictures, I will not hesitate to use Perfect Portrait 2 automatic solution.

Thanks for taking time to visit today. Oh, I also wanted to let you know that I have some exciting news to share in the upcoming weeks, so stay tuned. Sincerely, Thomas Shue

  1. How much did you retouch or correct in LR first, if you did at all?

  2. This is an image that was retouched solely in perfect portrait. Color, shine, blemish, skin softening, sharpening of the eyes, teeth whitening, everything was done in Perfect Portrait 2. I set the black point and the white point in LR before I handed it to the plugin. Seriously it is an amazing piece of software.
