Remove Skin Shine In Photoshop with a Wacom Tablet

Hi.  Welcome to my blog.  Today I share a tip on how easy it is to remove shine from a subjects skin, inside photoshop and using a Wacom tablet.  If you retouch at all, you know it can take a lot of time to make every image perfect.  You will also find that, when working in Photoshop, there are many ways to do the same thing and it can be very confusing to decide which method is best.  Lastly, if you spend a lot of time retouching, you will want to learn the fastest way to achieve a final result.  With that said, the Wacom tablet has easily become my most valuable tool for my post workflow.

When it comes to skin retouching, the Wacom tablet, in my opinion, is a must have piece of gear.  If you learn to use the tablet correctly, it can save you hours of time vs. doing the same thing with a mouse.  You will also find the mouse is just limited and you just can’t do some of the things that a Wacom tablet can.  For example, I can remove shine from a face with a single stroke of a pen.  To do that with a mouse would take considerably more work, but it is achievable.  Take a few mins and watch the video below to see, just how easy it is to deal with shine on a models face. Thanks for taking time to visit my blog.  Thomas Shue
