How to straighten an image in all versions of Photoshop

Photoshop CS6

Hi, welcome to my blog. Today I want to share a quick tip on how to straighten an image inside Photoshop. It used to be a big pain in the rear to straighten an image in Photoshop. There are several specific steps you have to do in all versions of Photoshop before CS5 to straighten an image and in the video below, I show you them all. In CS5 they made it much easier by automating the process a little, buried inside of the Eyedropper tool lives the ruler tool. In CS5 If you used the ruler tool properly it would straighten and crop your images all in one click, but oh, how things have changed. In Photoshop CS6 not only is the straighten function alive and well, it has moved it’s place of residence. It is now living inside the new nondestructive crop tool, and it works great, as a matter of fact it works better than any program I have ever used to straighten and crop a photo. Lightroom has a ruler tool but it is nothing like the one in the crop tool of Photoshop CS6. Heck don’t take my word for it, use it and see for yourself.

Please take a few mins and watch the video below to see how it all works. I want to thank you for taking time to visit my blog today and I hope you all have a great day. Sincerely, Thomas Shue
