A Surprise Gift From a Great Company

Hi, and welcome to my blog.  I wanted to share with you, a surprise gift, that I received from an awesome company - Induro.  They are a tripod manufacturer, and happen to be under the umbrella of the Mac Group.  If you haven’t heard of the Mac Group, maybe you have heard of some of the brands they represent.  Brands like PocketWizard, Sekonic, Profoto, Mamiya Leaf, Tenba, Kupo and the list goes on.  Anyway, as you may already know, I love photography, I love to teach photography, I love to review gear and I love to post my thoughts on my blog.

A while back I blogged about my new Induro AT 413 tripod (btw - the best tripod for the money in the world) and, somehow, Induro found my review and posted it on their blog.  You can find the Induro post here.  Please remember that I am not sponsored by any companies, I simply buy and review gear, that I like and own.  To make a long story short, the people at Mac Group liked my review and sent me a gift.  Today, out of the blue, I received a box at my front door, it was a box from the Big Brown Truck.  Always good times when that truck visits my house!

I had no idea what to expect, as I opened the box, until I came across a letter from Matt Hill of Mac Group.  It’s not often you receive a gift for doing what you love to do, but today was a special day.  I want to personally thank Matt Hill for taking time to recognize my effort in reviewing some Induro gear.  They are a really great company!  Take a minute and watch the video below to see what they sent me.  It’s not a big ticket item, but it was to me. This is the first time a company has ever given me anything and it makes me proud.
