How to Deal With Chromatic Aberrations in Lightroom

CA

Hi and welcome to my blog.  Today I offer a quick tip on how to deal with “CA” better known as Chromatic Aberration within Lightroom.  What is “CA” you might be asking?  CA is a form of color distortion that is displayed as fringes (mostly purple) of color at areas in an image that have a fast transition from dark to bright. It can be really bad if you use fast lenses (f1.2-f2.8), wide open, to make images of very high contrast scenes.  CA will be mostly predominate in an image anywhere black is against white.

There are so many ways to deal with CA in post but the easiest way I have found to fix CA, is within Lightroom.  In the video below, I will show you one of the hard ways to deal with CA, then I will show you the easy way to deal with CA.

Remeber this video is only to show you the way I deal with CA and I offer this tip in the hopes that it might help someone. I want to thank you for taking time to visit my blog today. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to leave them below. I hope you all have a great day, Thomas Shue
